Brazilian Delegation Arrives in Doha
Doha (QAT) March 24, 2013: The Brazilian delegation arrived in Doha yesterday to prepare for the 6th FIG World Challenge Cup Artistic Gymnastics, which will kick off on Wednesday.
With Arthur Nabarette Zanneti, London 2012 gold medalist, being the star of the Brazilian team, the 22-year old is excited to compete in Qatar.
“My form is not 100 percent because it is the beginning of the year, but I am prepared for this competition,” said Zanneti.
It is the first time for Zanneti to compete in Qatar and he is already expressing positive feelings about the country. “It is very clean and it is very beautiful and the training facility is really good,” said the Olympic champion.
The Tunisian and the Iraqi delegation have been on a training camp in Qatar for the past 10 days to get accustomed to the place before the start of the competition.
The other delegations will arrive on Monday and the podium training will be held on Tuesday.
Tickets for the event can be collected from Landmark, City Center or Aspire.
This is your chance to watch International champions competing in Doha.
