DOHA: Kazakhstan’s Milad Karimi continued his golden run at the 17th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Doha, capturing gold in the Men’s Horizontal Bar with an impressive score of 14.500.
In a thrilling final, Karimi narrowly edged out Tang Chia-Hung of Chinese Taipei, who delivered a nearly flawless routine to claim silver with 14.400. Tang Qi of China took bronze, scoring 14.000 to complete a high-caliber podium.
This victory marks Karimi’s second gold in Doha, following his triumph in the Men’s Floor Exercise earlier in the competition. His consistency and flair have firmly established him as one of the tournament’s standout performers.
The Kazakh gymnast also extended his dominance on the Horizontal Bar, having won gold in the same event at the FIG World Cup Series in Osijek, Croatia just last week — proving he’s in top form this season.
