Slovenia dominate Women’s Vault final

Doha: Teja Belak and Tjaša Kysselef secured a remarkable one-two finish for their country at the 17th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup here on Friday.

Veteran Belak claimed the gold medal with two powerful and cleanly executed vaults, earning top marks from the judges for both difficulty and execution. Belak, a consistent performer on the World Cup circuit, showcased her experience and precision to take the top spot.

Her compatriot Kysselef followed closely behind to win the silver medal. Known for her strong technique and graceful landings, Kysselef’s performance secured a well-deserved place on the podium, marking a proud day for Slovenian gymnastics.

Greta Mayer of Hungary completed the podium with a bronze medal finish. Mayer impressed the crowd with her dynamic vaulting and solid execution, adding to her growing reputation on the international stage.
