Vietnam’s Thanh Tung Le had a perfect landing to win the men’s vault final with 14.733 points at the FIG Artistic Individual Apparatus World Cup at Aspire Dome in Doha on Saturday.
Armenia’s Artur Davytan, a crowd favourite, had an excellent execution, but could not match Thanh and came second with 14.433 while Finland’s Heikki Saarenketo (14.366) finished third.
Germany’s Felix Remuta (14.283) was fourth followed by Turkey’s Ferhat Arican (14.266),  Australian’s Christopher Remkes (14.233) and Stephens Clay Mason (14.216).
Romania’s veteran gymnast Marian Dragulescu finished eighth (13.983).
