First time a Cuban gymnast achieves more than one medal of the world Championships with one silver All-Around and one bronze in horizontal bar.
Sports career
 In the Pan by apparatus 2013 , held at the Coliseo Roberto Clemente in San Juan , Puerto Rico has already demonstrated its potential by winning two gold medals – parallel bars (15,725) and Vault (15,362) – and a silver in the exercises on the floor with a score of 15,125 [1] .
 2014
 In July 2014 was the highest accumulator in the Pan American Sports Festival developed at Nissan City complex of Guadalajara .  There he won with a total of 89,120 points.  In the floor exercises he ended second behind Chilean Enrique Gonzalez , also won silver in the pommel horse , behind Jorge Giraldo of Colombia , and the rings, surmounted by the Brazilian Henrique Medina.  Two months later, in the continental qualifier for the Pan American Games in Toronto 2015 in Mississauga , Canada , he confirmed his good sportsmanship by winning silver medals at the time jumping horse and parallel bars [3] .
 During the XX Central American and Caribbean Games 2014 Veracruz graduated in Vault with a total of 15,137 ahead of the Dominican Audry Nin and the Guatemalan Jorge Alfredo Vega and was the highest total gymnastics event.  He also won silver medals in the floor exercise (15.350), the parallel bars (15.550), the Horizontal bar (14,775), the rings (15,325);  was bronze in team and scored an eighth place in the pommel horse (13.850) [4] .
 2015
 He participated in the XVII Pan American Games 2015 Toronto , where he had very good performance in its first days.  On July 13 he reached the silver medal in the final of the disputed men ‘s all around competition, where he was only 50 hundredths of American Samuel Mikulak .  It made a great impression with the public and experts, obtaining 14,500 notes hands free exercises, pommel horse 13.450, its Achilles heel.  In addition, he was second on rings (15.400) and horizontal bars (15.150), dominated the Vault (15.400) and the parallel bars test in which the highest marks were given, was third (15.750). On July 14 he won bronze in on the rings with 15,450 points, on 15 July silver on parallel bars with a score of 15,650, gold on vault with 15,125
 He participated in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Glasgow, Scotland, in October this year, where he ranked seventh in the qualifications for all around and agreed to three finals, and he is now the only Latin American among the top 10 competition I with 88,656 sum of points.  Top notes Manrique got 15 units in floor exercises (15,166), parallel bars (15,666) and horizontal bar (15,058), but also the 14,933 units were good in rings and pommel horse 14.000.  On October 30 he obtains silver medal, improving his preliminary notes on five of the six apparatus to close at 90,698 to Japanese Kohei Uchimura with 92,332.
He started with 14,300, on pommel horse, his best mark for life in this apparatus, and continued with 15,233, in Rings. Then 15,433 in Vault , 15,733 in parallel bars, and  15,333 on the high bar, reaching 1st. Finally 14,666 in floor exercises.
On November 1 he won the bronze medal on high bar with a score of 15,600, ensuring its presence in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016, besides placed fifth in parallel with 15,733.  This is the first time a Cuban gymnast achieves more than a medal of the world Championships.
