Doha (Qatar), AGU Office: Zhang Jin was in sparkling form to win the women’s All-Around title at the two-day FIG All-Around World Cup Series in Stuttgart, Germany, which ended last Sunday.
Zhang collected 53.431 points, which included the highest score on balance beam (13.533) and the second score on floor followed by Germany’s Elisabeth Seitz.
The EnBW DTB-Pokal was the second World Cup event in a series that began in Chicago, USA.
However, Japan’s Yusuke Tanaka had to be content with a third-place finish in the men’s competition.
The 28-year-old, who won team gold medal at 2016 Rio Games and silver in 2012 London Games, produced the best-scoring routines on parallel bars, horizontal bar and floor exercise but failed to maintain the same standards on the other apparatuses.
